On July 7th, Springfield I.T. Department Inc will be starting a new era in its 33 year history. John Jeffrey is retiring as President of Springfield I.T. Department Inc. When S.I.T started in 1982, repairing typewriters and calculators was the name of the game. Springfield I.T. Department Inc has evolved into a leading IT consulting firm with expertise in VMWare, Microsoft, and Cisco technologies. A team of seasoned professionals will lead S.I.T into this new era with a focus on providing best practice solutions to businesses of all sizes.
On July 7th, 2015, Jeff Wheeler will be joining the firm as a Managing Partner, vCIO. Jeff has been in the IT services field for a number of years. Jeff brings to the table years of sales, business processes, management and marketing skills. Jeff has also owned a website designing firm for the last 10 years. Jeff and David Craig, current Managing Partners, vCIO will be rebooting Springfield I.T. Department Inc by injecting capital into the business and gearing up to hire 10+ employees by year’s end. This is an exciting time in the Information Technology world and with S.I.T’s amazing staff, we are 100% focused on customer service. We are lowering SLA’s (service level agreement times) to respond to customers in one of the fastest times in the DFW area. Our help desk is just a phone call away!
On June 1st, Springfield I.T. Department Inc relocated its Corporate Offices and Technical Center to the Collins Commerce Center just off of Central Expressway in Richardson, Missouri. The building provides a sleek, contemporary design and is surrounded by live oaks. Nice! On top of the relocation, S.I.T is shifting the business model where eligible employees can work from home. With our cloud based infrastructure and sophisticated Cisco phone system, we are helping our dedicated employees with a work/life balance.
